One lucky couple will strike gold with the expansive primary suite, which spans the entire lower level of the house. Chalet-style open-concept living on the main floor, with vaulted ceilings, rustic beams, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake.

THE SPACE

You’ll be living your best life here! The Sanctuary at Canyon Lake sits high above the water, offering truly majestic views of the Hill Country. You’ll find that the overall vibe of the area is super cool and chill, so you’ll feel right at home as soon as you arrive. It’s easy to spend sunny afternoons and sultry evenings with your favorite people, just hanging out, talking and feasting on BBQ on the huge deck off the main living area.

The water on this finger of the lake is really calm, so the kids can play on the provided kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and floating play mat in a safe area with no speed boats—ideal for family adventures. It’s like an amazing calm, blue pool right in your own backyard!

LIVING SPACES

Picture the scene: You’ve just returned home from a day out on the lake. Your skin is kissed by the sun, your hair is tousled by the breeze, and your body is comfortably tired. You’re craving a tall, cold glass of tea (beer!) and a yummy snack.

Those rich, deep sofas are practically calling your name. Grab your tea and snack and let yourself sink down into all that plush comfort. Grab a book from the library, challenge a friend to a board game, or turn on the Smart TV to stream (lightning fast w/1GB WiFi!) the next episode of your favorite show, as you dream about taking a soak in the hot tub or roasting marshmallows in the firepit in the backyard later on in the evening.

KITCHEN AND DINING

The luxury! The space! The family chef will be in heaven in this fully equipped kitchen. Best of all, it’s part of the great room, so no one will ever feel isolated from the rest of your group.

An enormous tiled peninsula bar seats 6. This space also doubles as an additional food prep area.

Gorgeous beadboard wood is on all the cabinets, including the massive pantry. With special touches like stainless steel appliances, an oversized refrigerator and freezer, tiled backsplash, and even an old-fashioned breadbox, you may have a hard time getting the family chef out of this space.

But just think – you’ll have delicious aromas wafting through the house, tempting everyone’s taste buds, for your entire trip!

We’ve even included some thoughtful extras like dual coffee makers (both K-cup and drip), a full rack of spices, and a blender, because how else can you make margaritas??

The adjacent formal dining table provides seating for 8 and a birds-eye view of the gorgeous scenery just outside the window. You won’t find a more scenic spot anywhere!

BEDROOMS AND BATHS

You may have to draw straws for the lower-level primary suite!

It’s a sweet spot. It’s comprised of the entire lower level of the home. This gorgeous space has a kitchenette, cool tiled floors, and a cozy fireplace complementing the modern king-size bed, dressed in luxury linens and lots of fluffy pillows.

Private access to the lower level deck means romantic evenings stargazing with a glass of wine. Ahhh…

The spa bath is a decadent treat, with a corner Jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake, an oversized shower big enough for two, and a generous sink and vanity.

The main level offers a second suite, complete with two queen beds and ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is perfect for the kids, with a twin-over-full bunk bed (with a trundle underneath!), and a Balinese/Murphy queen bed. The hall bath offers a tub/shower.

All bedrooms come equipped with a Smart TV. We also provide a washer and dryer, toiletries, starter coffee kit, bathrobes, high chair, and pack-n-play.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES

This is where the magic happens!

During the day, you’re close enough to Party Cove to paddle over on the four provided kayaks and SUPs (with plenty of life jackets), make some new friends, and join in the daily celebration of Summer. The best part? You’re far enough away to still enjoy the peace and tranquility of your best lake life.

Fire up the BBQ and enjoy an alfresco meal on the upper deck at the dining table for 8 while you marvel at the famous Canyon Lake Deer roaming through the backyard.

You’ll enjoy gorgeous sunny days, wildly colorful sunsets, and clear, starry nights from the deck overlooking the lake. Stream your favorite tunes using the two wireless speakers.

The view might be the very best from the warmth of the hot tub on the deck.

And don’t forget the firepit! Marshmallows, s’mores, and ghost stories await!

I have never given 5 stars across all areas, but this was special. The experience was unique. Lots of nature, kind people, and so many activities!

My family is interested in completely different activities (or no activity in a few cases;-). We liked being able to cook at the home for easy nights. We loved the restaurants in the area too.

We had kayaks and SUP boards available to us but mostly did day trips, hikes, and shopping in the most adorable little town in the Texas Hill Country!

This was a family getaway. But, I am pitching it to my girlfriends for wine tours, shopping, and a few spa outings!

The Sanctuary at Canyon Lake will be a regular destination for us. It was exactly what we needed and more.
